Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SolidifyGames ("Service"), operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

SolidifyGames provides a Chrome browser extension and web platform that uses artificial intelligence to generate quiz games from study materials in Google's Gemini Notebook product. Quiz games are hosted on our servers and playable in any modern browser.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. You must sign in using a valid Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Free and Paid Tiers

The Service is offered in a Free tier (with monthly generation limits) and a paid Pro tier. Current pricing and quota limits are shown on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to change quotas, features, and pricing with 30 days' notice to active users.

4. User Content and Ownership

You retain all rights to the source materials you provide via Gemini Notebook. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your sources for the sole purpose of generating quiz questions on your behalf. AI-generated quiz content derived from your sources is your property; you may share, edit, and distribute it as you see fit.

5. Storage Limits

All accounts, including Free tier, may store up to 1,000 quiz packs. Packs stored beyond this limit are subject to deletion after 30 days' notice.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to (a) generate content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the AI models; (c) circumvent quota limits; or (d) resell the Service without written permission. See our Acceptable Use Policy for detailed guidance.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your Settings page. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT AI-GENERATED QUIZ CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING GENERATED CONTENT BEFORE USING IT IN INSTRUCTIONAL SETTINGS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
