[COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("we," "us," "our") operates SolidifyGames. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information needed to operate the Service:
- Account information from Google: your name, email address, and Google account ID when you sign in.
- Usage data: the number of quiz generations you perform, the sources you supply for each generation (temporarily, to generate questions), and the packs you save to your account.
- Billing information (Pro tier only): processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not see, store, or transmit your full credit card number.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and basic device information for security and reliability.
Student gameplay in our games happens entirely in the browser. We do not collect student names, scores, or gameplay data on our servers. Instructors who wish to verify student performance may do so via optional in-game grade reports the student generates locally.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to (a) provide the Service, (b) enforce quota limits, (c) process billing for Pro subscribers, (d) communicate with you about Service updates and account matters, and (e) improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Third-Party Processors
We share data with the following processors, each bound by data protection agreements:
- Google (OAuth): authentication only.
- Netlify: web hosting and backend services.
- Anthropic: AI question generation. Your source materials are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate quiz questions; Anthropic does not train models on your API data.
- Stripe (Pro tier only): subscription billing.
4. Data Retention
Account and usage data are retained for as long as your account is active. Quiz packs remain in your account until you delete them. If you delete your account, we permanently remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or accounting purposes.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to (a) access the personal data we hold about you, (b) request correction of inaccurate data, (c) request deletion of your data, and (d) export your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, email [CONTACT EMAIL].
6. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS in transit, encryption at rest, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or prominent in-Service notice.
